LIST has a very active Placement Cell which keeps students motivated & focused for their overall development leading to success during campus recruitment activities. It invites Industries/Companies for recruiting engineers and managers through the LIST. The Placement Department of LIST organizes various placement related programmes for pre-final and final year students.

It plays a very important and key role in counseling and guiding the students at every stage of their academic programmes and helps to fit into a suitable environment. The cell is involved in arranging Guest Lectures by inviting eminent personalities from leading organizations, conducting Personality Development Programmes and In-plant training for students.

The placement cell ensures and takes care to provide the best arrangement and hospitality for the visiting corporate officials.

It also coordinates various activities related to the career of the students along with the industrial training and organizes On- campus as well as Off-campus for final and pre-final year students of UG and PG programmes.
