DATES: 12TH AND 13TH MARCH 2025
TRAINER: DR.NIVEDITA OJHA, HEARTFULNESS CENTRE, BHOPAL

Laxmipati Group of Institutions successfully organized a transformative two-day workshop on Mindfulness and Heartfulness Meditation on 12th and 13th March 2025. The session was conducted by  Dr.Nivedita Ojha from the Heartfulness Centre, Bhopal, a seasoned trainer known for her deep insights into meditation and inner transformation. The workshop aimed at instilling awareness, emotional regulation, and personal growth through the practice of meditation and introspection.it was a two day workshop. Day 1 Highlights Understanding Attitude and Self-Transformation

The first day of the workshop focused on laying the foundation of self-awareness and the critical role of attitude in meditation and daily life. Dr. Nivedita Ojha emphasized that meditation alone, no matter how disciplined or regular, accounts for only a small fraction of personal transformation. The real catalyst lies in one's attitude—accounting for nearly 95% of one’s progress.

Participants were guided through the importance of approaching meditation with love, interest, and openness. Mechanical routines and rigid expectations, she warned, could render meditation counterproductive. Instead, she encouraged attendees to meditate with joy and enthusiasm, comparing it to the excitement one feels when meeting a beloved. A powerful takeaway was: "Meditation is best when you have no expectations, when you demand nothing—it is really a form of waiting."

She also introduced the four Heartfulness practices—Relaxation, Meditation, Cleaning, and Prayer—and highlighted how love, humility, and prayerfulness are essential attitudes to sustain vibrancy in any spiritual practice.

On the second day, the focus shifted to practical aspects of emotional awareness, acceptance in relationships, and handling life’s challenges with grace. Participants were encouraged to reflect on their inner reactions, asking key questions like:

  • "Am I reacting from awareness or habit?"
  • "Do I truly accept the faults of myself and others?"

Dr.Nivedita Ojha emphasized that real acceptance is joyful, not grudging or forced. Attendees learned that inner peace and emotional intelligence begin with awareness—watching emotions like anger without suppression, and transforming that energy into compassion and constructive response.

A significant part of the session dealt with relationships. She explained that respect and unconditional love, rather than tolerance or expectation, form the backbone of meaningful human connections. Acceptance, she said, must arise from the heart, not social obligation or mental compulsion.

Participants were introduced to the idea of absolute acceptance and total surrender—living in the present moment without resistance to reality.

The workshop concluded with a powerful reminder: "To change the world, change yourself first." Dr. Nivedita Ojha’s sessions left a deep impact on the participants, inspiring them to look inward and cultivate a life of balance, peace, and purpose. The Laxmipati Group of Institutions thanks the Heartfulness Centre, Bhopal, and Dr.Nivedita Ojha for this enriching experience and looks forward to hosting more such events in the future.
